Potato Fruit on the Plant – version 2

Potatoes are vegetables that grow BELOW ground. BUT, occasionally they have FRUIT growing ABOVE ground, up on the potato leaves. They look VERY similar to Tomatoes (Tomatoes and Potatoes are in the same family), but Potato Fruit are reportedly poison to humans. I made a few short videos on this interesting phenomenon of Potato Fruit.

    I don’t know what prompts potatoes to grow “fruit” up at the top of the leaves like this.
    I’ll be interested to see if it also happens this year.

    I’ve never seen those grow or hear anyone who got them here in Eastern Canada. Maybe they don’t grow in colder climats.
